History of our Co-founder:

Dr. Jaw-Kang Chang received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick in 1969, continuing his postdoc at UT Austin (Hook ’em horns!). He has been a pioneer in the peptide field for over 55 years.

Pictured here is Dr. Jaw-Kang Chang in 1969 synthesizing his first peptide, TRH (thyrotropin-releasing hormone). It led to Researchers Dr. Folkers and Dr. Schally discovering the very first Neuropeptides in the pituitary gland. 

This year, Phoenix Pharmaceuticals celebrates its 30th anniversary. Dr. Chang continues to oversee the production facility, providing quality peptide products to researchers all around the world.
